Dr. Darrell “DMJ” Morton Jr.
Dr. Darrell “DMJ” Morton Jr. founded VertiSky STEM Solutions to help organizations prepare people for a rapidly changing aviation and technology landscape.
His work sits at the intersection of UAS, aviation, education, workforce development, and emerging technology. He brings those areas together to help schools, universities, organizations, and communities move from innovative ideas to programs and pathways that can create lasting impact
Known as “The Drone Docta,” Dr. Morton has built his career around making aviation understandable, relevant, and connected to opportunity. His approach combines industry knowledge with education and workforce strategy—helping learners see not only how aviation technology works, but where it can take them.
